Austentatious: An Improvised Jane Austen Novel

The award-winning smash-hit comedy, as heard on BBC Radio 4, and seen selling out every week in the West End since 2022, welcomes you to their Regency-inspired world, at the Vaudeville Theatre.

The all-star Austentatious cast improvise a hilarious new Jane Austen novel every night! Inspired entirely by a title from the audience and performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment - it’s a riotous, razor-sharp show where swooning is guaranteed.

The revolving Austentatious cast include numerous, award-winning TV and Radio starring performers, including Rachel Parris (BBC’s The Mash Report, Live at the Apollo), Cariad Lloyd (BBC’s QI, Inside No.9, Griefcast, The Witchfinder), Joseph Morpurgo (Radio 4, Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee), Graham Dickson (BBC’s The Witchfinder, Netflix’s After Life) and more.

Schrodinger's cat and the chariot, a true masterpiece
English is not my first language, but even so I laughed so much I had tears in my eyes! A company of actors with amazing chemistry, flowing effortlessly with the improvisation. Must see them again in my lifetime!

Brilliant improv
Great fun- a Jane Austen parody with a little bit of swearing. Excellent performances all round!

Creative and hilarious
My partner and I went to see it, and we loved it! The improv of the actors is funny, and made us laugh throughout the show. I’ll recommend to my parents, and we are going back to watch it again next time we come back to London.
